Gems of Wisdom: Creating an Economic Development Firm

I started my first consulting firm in Hong Kong, where I focused on helping US firms enter China’s market. I started that business to take advantage of my pioneering work in China and Asia, where I lived for 12 years. Having worked in over 100 countries, I have focused on helping development institutions and firms promote economic development in countries around the world. My latest firm, Gems of Wisdom Consulting Inc., leverages a lifetime of experience and knowledge of my colleagues and I to help clients achieve their objectives pursuant to entering new markets, expanding their trade, lowering their operational and management risk, expanding their networks, and helping small firms become more resilient in the time of COVID-19.  In effect, our firm is a “go-to” firm for those who seek to understand “how things work” within the ecosystems of government contracting, business startups and entrepreneurship, women and minority-owned firms, ethics and compliance, and trade.

As an author of 33 books, I specialize in explaining phenomena about exporting, compliance, leadership, women, race relations, youth leadership, management, government procurement, business startups, and many other topics. I am a frequent speaker in the US State Department’s Public Diplomacy program and speak to audiences around the world that want to understand the policies, laws, systems, and programs in the U.S. that have helped firms and individuals thrive economically.

There are two ways to get in touch: As a client of our for-profit firm, Gems of Wisdom Consulting, Inc., or if you are looking to be a part of our work and conversation about ethics contact us at www.gemsofwisdomconsulting.com

Gems of Wisdom Consulting, Inc. has two exciting announcements!

The first announcement is the debut of my new 501 (c) (3): Gemini Ethics Movement (GEM) Foundation!  More details will be released in the coming weeks!

The second announcement is the release of my new book in December titled: Ethics As Seen Through the Lens of the Black American Experience: How Does It Look?  This book examines Racial Injustice Pathways: People, Institutions, Machines, and Viruses and sheds light on how systemic racism is manifested and how it works.
